I am an award winning multi-format writer, producer and director. My work is carefully observed with a softly emotional human touch and rooted in a desire to move people through stories that matter.

I studied Anthropology and later, a Documentary Directing course at University College London (UCL). Both help me stay humble, work against my prejudices and respect life experiences different to my own. I try to bring personal and professional humility to every project.

My first job in TV production was as an assistant to the Managing Director of TV and Film at the multinational production company Chorion. From there I moved to a boutique marketing and communications consultancy and conducted audience research for the BBC, Channel 4, ITV and various international broadcasters - overseeing the video output the agency produced. I still work as a film consultant with a specific interest and expertise in media and under-represented audiences to a select group of research agencies and I am Creative Director at The Outsiders.

However, my passion is my creative work and I co-founded the award winning collective We Dream Films to consolidate my interest in activism, film and social development by telling stories for people and organisations engaged in positive social impact. Outside of that, I make independent films which have screened at international festivals and my portfolio is a labour of love which I am developing through my involvement with the Creative Conscience Impact Programme.
